Mount Classic 2026
Every year, The Mount Pickleball Club organises the very successful Mount Classic, held at Mercury Baypark; it is now one of the largest pickleball tournament in New Zealand with over 320 participants from all around the country.

Senior B men’s and women’s doubles will be on Friday the 18th, with Open and other senior games on Saturday the 19th, followed by all the mixed games on Sunday the 20th.

Hamilton Interclub Tournament
The Hamilton Interclub Tournament hosted by Mount Pickleball Club at Mercury Bay Park on the 6th of June 26 was a great success;
24 players in each team competed in Men, Women and Mixed Doubles.

Battle of the Bays 2026
The Battle of the Bays is a competition between 5 clubs:
Mount Maunganui, Rotorua, Hawkes Bay, Gisborne and Whakatane.
This year’s tournament hosted by Mount Pickleball Club at Mercury Bay Park on the 18th of April was a great success.
Congratulations to team Gisborne who finished first, followed by Hawkes Bay (2nd ), Mount Club (3d), Rotorua (4th) and Whakatane (5th).

The Mount Pickleball Club loves being involved in competitions.
Throughout the year, competitive events are held at the club.
The Mount Pickleball Club also participates in events organised by other clubs.
We compete in Mens and Womens Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
Some events are open to all members and others are exclusive to the competitive team.
Nick, Club Captain is in charge of the competitive squad.
We are always looking for new talent to join us!
